Frank Schories studied marketing and tourism management at the University of Lincoln and the Harz University of Applied Sciences before completing a master's degree in sustainable tourism management at the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) in 2022. Immediately afterwards, he began working at ZENAT and, among other things, played a key role in conducting a study on sustainability among booking portals and digital travel providers for the first time.

Between 2005 and 2019, he worked for market-leading tourism groups in various areas in Germany and abroad, at regional tourism associations in Germany, and as the manager of a 4-star hotel in Austria, among other positions. The range of experience gained during this time, forms the basis for his current work with a focus on tourism certification systems as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR), digitalization and sustainable mobility in tourism.

In addition to his work at ZENAT, he works for the Institute for Tourism Research (ITF) at the Harz University of Applied Sciences and as a freelancer in tourism consulting.
